The Los Angeles Reel Film Festival’s aim is to seek out, acknowledge and award the many talented independent filmmakers and writers who may not get the recognition they deserve through many of the more political and commercial film festivals. The LARFF recognizes filmmakers and screenwriters who demonstrate exceptional achievement in craft and creativity. All genres of film, music videos and scripts are accepted by the LARFF and up to 410 awards will be distributed, giving filmmakers and writers the opportunity to be noticed. 1st place films of each category will screen at a theater in Hollywood California. All other winners will receive digital award certificates for their accomplishments. Being that the LARFF operates primarily as a virtual festival, our main objective is to make sure filmmakers can be awarded for their talents without ruining their world premiere status with other festivals. Films that are selected to screen with us will have the choice to opt out of their screening and still hold their winning tittle with the LARFF if they have a conflict with another festival.
